Yes, multiple locations with be treated as a network and if policies are unified throughout the networked locations, a sample percentage of locations will be reviewed and billed for accreditation per number of employees at each location. The accreditation is valid for 3 years.
Yes, to be eligible for accreditation, the organization must offer medical coverage, prescription coverage, behavioral health support, and worker’s compensation (wage replacement and medical benefits to employees injured in the course of employment). If national health coverage and or social benefits are provided by the government, these should be comparable to what is specified above, with the organization subsidizing any benefits not offered by the government. It depends on the resources dedicated to the accreditation process. Most organizations should be able to comply with the accreditation requirements in 2-3 months.
Complementary online training on the accreditation elements and process is included in the accreditation pricing to assist your leadership and staff prepare for the accreditation.
No, the accreditation is completed entirely online via the submission and review of required documentation and data.
Organizations that do not initially achieve accreditation will have 90 days to achieve compliance with the accreditation elements. GHA will schedule a call with you to address any deficiencies and provide guidance on developing an action plan.
